The Simons Center for Geometry and Physics (scgp.stonybrook.edu) is part of Stony Brook University. The center can be reached by car from the Long Island Expressway (LIE, Exit 62, going north on CR 97 to the main entrance of the University - about 20 minutes from the LIE).

The main entrance to the University will be located on your left (note it is the second entrance heading north on Nicolls). Turn left on Circle Road and follow it until you reach the traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Campus Drive. At the fourth stop sign, turn right on Campus Drive, then make an immediate left onto John S. Toll Drive. The Simons Center will be on your right just past a large parking lot and group of trees. To find the campus via GPS, enter the address "100 Nicolls Road, Stony Brook, NY 11790."

Visa Information

Participants should check if they require a visa to enter the United States on the U.S. Department of State's U.S. Visas website.

Foreign travelers, who are citizens from certain eligible countries, may also be able to visit the U.S. for business (e.g. attend a scientific conference) or tourism for 90 days or less without a visa if they meet the Visa Waiver Program requirements. All eligible travelers who wish to travel under the Visa Waiver Program must apply for authorization on-line through ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization).
